Vicarage Farm, built in 1637, is set in 6 acres of rolling countryside, woodland and delightfully landscaped gardens.  It enjoys uninterrupted views from the grounds with barely a house in sight, but miles of dry stone walls and uncongested lanes.

The holiday cottages are set in the ancient farming hamlet of Wheston with its medieval cross.  The hamlet lies just over a mile outside the well-serviced market town of Tideswell with its famous church known as ‘the Cathedral of the Peak’ and its equally famous well dressing festival held annually in June.

Wheston is centrally placed in the unspoilt Peak District National Park, a place where the traditional activities of hill farming are a part of day to day life.  There are glorious rambles both for the energetic and for those who prefer a gentle amble through the unspoilt and serene hills and dales.

The main house, The Vicarage, is a fine grade 11 listed building reputedly once slept in by Bonnie Prince Charlie.  In total, the 4 properties together can sleep up to 25 people.  Both the Vicarage and the Princes Seat have large reception rooms capable of seating extended families or groups.

Onsite facilities include tennis court, log fires and saunas.  There is an on-site floodlit, all weather tennis court games room for children. Stabling and paddock are available for horses.
