Ashgrove Farm is a 46 acre farm situated in glorious countryside
between wentnor and Ratlinghope. The Farm enjoys a peaceful
location with wonderful views over our Shropshire hills.
This is superb riding and walking country. We are 2½
miles from the long Mynd and Stiperstones, and near the
Jack Mytton Way.
Stabling and/or grazing is available for up to 4 horses.
Hay is available when required but plesae bring your own
food.
The Farmhouse itself is a period property of great charm
which sleeps up to 4 people comfortably. There is a fitted
kitchen with cooker and microwave, lounge with wood burner
and dining room with oil central heating. There is a choice
of local pubs if you don't fancy cooking at night. We can
also supply an evening meal and packed lunches in the day
if required.
There are many places of interest for non-riders to visit
including Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Ironbridge. Gliding is
available on the Long Mynd and hunting and fishing in season.
We regret that we are unable to take young children or dogs.
Prices start from £250.00 per week for the
house, horses are £5.00 per night to include grazing and
use of stable.
